Maya Likembe combines the names of an Indian goddess of creation, an ancient Mesoamerican civilisation and an African instrument. It's also the name of the group founded by Luxembourg singer-songwriter Mary-Ann Meiers. Although firmly rooted in the jazz tradition, her music and voice are influenced by Latin American, African and soul sounds. The project came about thanks to the collaboration of musicians from different cultural backgrounds.

Sunset Unplugged is a series of free summer concerts held each year in the courtyard of the Kulturhuef.
