The band: BMAD, also known as Boogie Music Against Depression (or Blues Makes A Difference), was founded in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic as a duo who wanted to have a good time and protect themselves from the depression. In 2023, BMAD expanded into a trio: Christian Ries plays piano and sings with his gravelly voice, Paulo Simões plays guitar and Rob Schauls plays the drums.
